Garden play - we been spending all our time in the garden in this beautiful sunshine ☀️
I thought I’d share some of Elsie’s favourites at the moment:
First up is the dantoy.dk carrot planting set from marresatoys 🥕 which is made from Nordic Eco-labelled plastic, Elsie has really loved planting the carrots using the different tools, and then watering them, definitely going to plant something in the other for her to watch grow!
She’s had lots of water fun using her new deep tray from cosydirect can’t wait to use this more! And also her water trays from lidlgb As the weather has been so nice Elsie’s been cooking us up a storm on her wooden bbq that I got off marketplace, followed by an ice cream from her dantoy.dk set! 🍦
And then the latest addition is her plumplayuk discovery create and paint easel which she is OBSESSED WITH! we’ve been using the crayola_uk washable paints and they actually do wash out! It’s so lovely watching her confidence and personality grow using her fave toys!

Outside painting🖌️🎨 Edward was very lucky to get this gorgeous plumplayuk easel from Grandma and Grandad and has absolutely loved painting on it ❤️ I’ve not actually done painting with him before as I was a little scared of the mess so this is perfect! I can’t wait to share all the activities we’ll do with it.
I picked up these chunky paintbrushes from melissaanddouguk and some finger paints from crayola_uk (which really are washable – already tried and tested on his clothes!🙈)

Messy play taken outside 🙌
I'd be lying if I said I enjoyed messy play inside the house so this discovery, create and paint easel is perfect for Cole. Fresh air, paint, play and learn while us parents get to enjoy the sun.

What a difference a day makes!

A d I took this photo yesterday evening in the glorious sunshine. Today it has been constant rain so there’s been no outside play🌧.

I am always looking for different ways to practice and reinforce skills and concepts so when my little lady said she wanted to use her plumplayuk Discover Create and Paint easel, I jumped at the opportunity to practice writing her name and high frequency words🙌😅.

l e t s p l a y • one night away for work and with my working mama hat firmly on, I’m sharing B this morning. I definitely feel like I have my work Mallory and my mama Mallory sides to me. When I’m running around to meetings and events, I sometimes feel rough for not thinking about Barney so much or being in his every detail for a couple of days but then I remember I do all of this for him. I’ve always wanted to be the best lawyer that I can be but now he’s here, he’s my absolute motivation. To set an example of work ethic, overcoming adversity, determination, reward and striving for your goals. I climbed into my glorious queen size bed last night and checked in on the nursery app to see he had had an incredible day. He was still sleeping when me and Mike were messaging this morning. Safe to say I’m going to smash out this morning and then get back home to my babes. Just enjoying a lovely breakfast with some morning jazz music (love it so much) and I’ll be head down in work mode, again. Being a working parent is a ride.
